Payum library support

Hello everybody,

I am not sure if someone posted about this before, I did look for it but did not found anything.

I would like to ask if the community is aware that the Payum library is not maintained anymore and the main developer is willing to help in the transfer process.

In this issue https://github.com/Payum/Payum/issues/854 can be made the follow up.

There are some persons already willing to help i guess what it takes is some strong community who could drive the main development.

Is this something that Sylius community would be willing to do?

Best regards,
David

Hi @davidmpaz!

Thanks for bringing this topic back to life.

I’ve already shared our status on the matter here: https://sylius-devs.slack.com/archives/CBV3ZLA8P/p1595945597000000?thread_ts=1595939836.499500&cid=CBV3ZLA8P.

Also, I’ve just replied in the GitHub discussion. For now, the best thing we can do is to count on the new volunteers’ contributions and seek resources to better support the project in 2021.

Cheers,
Tim
